Payout Schedule by Tier

Payout Requirements

To receive payouts, you must:

• Create and connect a Stripe account during registration
• Complete Stripe's identity verification process
• Provide valid banking information
• Maintain accurate account information

4. LICENSING & CREDIT

Your Ownership

• You retain full copyright ownership of your original work.
• By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, distribute, and deliver your products through the platform.

Promotional Use

• We may feature your work in newsletters, blog posts, social media, or promotional materials—with credit to you.
• You may opt out of promotional features by contacting us.

Removing Your Content

• You may request the removal of your products at any time.
• Removal will be processed within 7 business days of your written request.
• Note: Buyers who purchased before removal retain access to their downloads.

5. CONTENT REVIEW & APPROVAL

All products require admin approval before publication. We review all resources to ensure they:

• Reflect trauma-informed, inclusive, and anti-oppressive practices
• Do not promote harmful, unethical, or illegal activity
• Are appropriate for our community of violence prevention advocates serving survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, trafficking, and stalking
• Meet quality standards for accuracy, completeness, and professionalism

Approval Timeline:

• Free Creator: 48-72 hours
• Pro Creator: 24-48 hours (priority)
• Organization: 24 hours (VIP priority)

We reserve the right to refuse or remove content that doesn't align with these values. For details, see our Content Moderation Policy and Document Upload Approval Policy.

6. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Creator, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your content, pricing, and professional background
• Confirm that you have the legal right to sell all materials you upload
• Respond to platform communications within 5 business days
• Update us promptly if you need to change or remove a resource
• Maintain accurate payout and contact information
• Report and pay all applicable taxes on your earnings
• Follow all platform policies, including the Community Guidelines

7. REFUNDS & BUYER DISPUTES

• Buyers may request refunds within 7 days if products don't match their description
• If a refund is approved, the refunded amount (including commission) is deducted from your next payout
• We encourage creators to provide accurate, detailed descriptions to minimize disputes
• Excessive refunds or chargebacks may result in account review

8. VIOLATIONS & ACCOUNT ACTIONS

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or remove listings that violate these terms
• Withhold payouts in cases of copyright disputes or fraud investigations
• Suspend accounts pending investigation of reported violations
• Permanently terminate accounts for repeat or severe violations

Our Process:

1. Warning: First violations typically receive a warning and an opportunity to correct
2. Suspension: Temporary suspension for serious or repeated violations
3. Termination: Permanent account closure for severe or continued violations

We'll always try to resolve issues fairly and communicate openly. You may appeal decisions by emailing appeals@advocatespayingadvocates.com.

9. TAX RESPONSIBILITIES

As an independent business owner selling on the Marketplace:

• You are responsible for determining and paying all applicable taxes on your earnings
• You may need to report earnings to federal, state, and local tax authorities
• If you earn more than $600 USD in a calendar year, you may receive a Form 1099-K from Stripe
• The Marketplace does not withhold taxes from your payouts

We strongly recommend consulting with a qualified tax professional regarding your specific tax obligations. The Marketplace cannot provide tax advice.

10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

• We may update these terms as the platform grows
• We will notify you of any material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect
• Changes will also be posted on the Marketplace with the updated effective date
• Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance
